Just a half mile away from the Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge you will find the picturesque village of Falmouth, rich in historic and cultural activities. Its Main Street is packed with great restaurants, art galleries, shops and pubs.
Would you prefer on the beach? A three-minute walk brings you to famous Falmouth Heights Beach, literally 175 yards from our property line. This beach is home to the ever popular Falmouth Road Race Finish Line and Falmouth's 4th of July Fireworks Celebration.
In the mood for adventure? Set sail to the storybook island of Martha's Vineyard on the Island Queen. The ferry dock is less than a five-minute walk from our front steps and sails daily in season. Discounted ferry tickets and FREE parking available to guests of the Lodge.
We are located on Falmouth’s bike route, which connects onto the Shining Sea Bikeway. Take a bike ride along the ocean-side trail or drive along the seven miles of stunning seashore past the majestic Nobska Lighthouse to the neighboring village of Woods Hole.
A bounty of marine research culture exists in this seaside port. Tour the National Marine Fisheries Aquarium, Marine Biological Laboratory Visitor’s Center, world-renowned Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Exhibit Center & Gift Shop or feast on the local delicacies at one the many dockside restaurants.
